Troubleshooting
No subtitles appear
- Make sure audio is actually playing and your volume is up.
- Check that the correct output device is selected in OverlayAI settings.
- Verify your API key or subscription status.
- Restart OverlayAI and the video player.
Subtitles are delayed
- Try switching to a different provider in Settings.
- Check your network connection.
- Close other apps that may be consuming bandwidth.
App crashes on launch
- Make sure you are on Windows 10/11.
- Try running as administrator.
- Send us the logs via Settings → Feedback.
